PWC/PROPERTY COUNCIL RETIREMENT CENSUS

The PwC/Property Council Retirement Census is the most comprehensive aggregated data source about retirement villages in Australia.

The Retirement Census profiles the physical characteristics of village, ownership details, residents, business attributes (e.g. tenure, financial structure, operating overheads), sales, health and wellbeing, contracts, technology, and future development. 

2021 Retirement Census

The annual Retirement Census was run in 2021. 

KEY DATES

Monday, 19 July 2021 - Data collection commences

Friday, 27 August 2021 - Data collection ends

January 2022 - Contributor Report sent to participating village operators 

24 February 2022 - Presentation of results at the NSW Retirement Living Forum 



HOW TO PARTICIPATE

The data collection has now closed and it is no longer possible to participate in the 2021 Retirement Census.

Aimed at investors, these Reports provide key findings from the Retirement Census in greater depth than the complimentary Snapshot Report.
